There are many lovely locations to photograph in the South Western part of WA but in the Albany/Great Southern region especially you are spoiled for choice. Of course there are the beautiful Stirling and Porongorup Ranges but the coastal views are also fantastic. This nice little beach is only a short drive from the Albany township.

The day I was there rain was threatening but with the dramatic skies it was worth taking a risk and trudging all the way to the end of the beach where there are some nice rocks. I lingered until the light got nice and low for the long exposure below then bailed out and made a dash for the car just before the heavens opened.
